Roundtrip Malaysia / Singapore
November 1996

Asia was a complete new experience for me. You hear much about Asia, but to see this live is something special. The asian people are very kindly and see their live in an easier way. Sometimes we should look upon them and share their way of living.
First we stopped in Kuala Lumpur. There you'll find the highest building in the world, the Petronas Twin Tower. Moreover it's an amazing city with a wonderful china market. After this we drove the westcoast down to Malakka. In early days it was a portuguese town. You'll find a lot of history there. After a few days of artistic-cycling world championship's in Johor Bahru we crossed the bridge to Singapore, the metropolis in the southchinese sea. An unbelievable clean city, iclining to some exaggerations considering to this. You have the best view from the seaside, so you must do a harbour trip. Otherwise there are many malls and it's a perfect place for shopping. At the end of this vacation we made a stopover on Penang Island for a few days. We relaxed a little bit. Unfortunately the beach was not so nice. But the weather was fine!
